The WordPress plugin is free. A new website project receives 15 free AI service replies in total, shared by all visitors. After that, service costs €10/month or €100/year for one website.
Do I need my own OpenAI API key?
No. ChatNEX handles AI requests on its server. You connect the service in the WordPress plugin settings.
Where does the assistant get its answers?
ChatNEX indexes public website content and uses relevant information to generate answers. Content quality matters, and AI can make mistakes. Check important answers before relying on them.
Can I change the assistant’s appearance?
Yes. You can configure widget appearance, welcome message, quick questions, assistant tone and enquiry recipients in WordPress. Local configuration features do not require an upgrade.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Use Manage subscription in ChatNEX settings to open the Stripe-hosted subscription portal. Deactivating or deleting the plugin does not cancel the subscription.
What data is processed?
The service processes website context and messages submitted to the assistant. AI processing uses OpenAI; payments use Stripe. Read the linked service privacy notice and data processing agreement before connecting.
